COACHES: Reserve your slot for your team(s) by either paying the registration fee OR player deposits for the number of teams attending. The registration fees OR player deposits will be applied to your balance. Enter your name and home address as the participant. Enter the school name and address when prompted.
IMPORTANT INFO: Upon completion of the online registration of your team(s), the coach will receive instructions from the camp office outlining procedures to follow to complete the process. Player deposits are due by May 21, 2017 and can be paid online or sent to the camp office in one check. The balance for your team(s) can be paid with one check on registration day.
CAROLINA'S FINEST TEAM CAMP 1 - Eligibility, Teams ONLY
Each team will play at least eight games against teams of similar ability. Teams will be divided into leagues by coaches’ choice or by competition level. Leagues include middle school, junior varsity, and varsity. Awards will be given in each league for Best Defensive Team, Best Offensive Team, Best Rebounding Team, Best Shooting Team and Sportsmanship. Games will be officiated by certified officials.
Seminars will be held on study skills, time management, conditioning, strength training, leadership, team building, and nutrition. Clinics will be held throughout Team Camp for players and coaches in facilities like Woollen and Fetzer Gymnasiums.
Each camper will be given a North Carolina tee shirt and each team will be given a North Carolina blue and white Lady Tar Heel Basketball.
One coach attends at no charge (minimum of 8 players). Each head coach per team will be paid $300 and will be responsible for supervising their team at the dorms and gyms. Teams will play in the Dean E. Smith Center.
Each team is responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the airport as well as to and from gyms during camp.
Campers will stay at Granville Towers, student housing for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (air-conditioning and private bath), where they will enjoy excellent all-you-can-eat meals. Granville Towers is located on the most popular area of campus, Franklin Street. Some teams may be housed in different dorms.
In addition to coaches, counselors, and the camp administrator residing in the dorm with campers, 24-hour security will be provided by Granville Towers.
What better way to get your team ready for the upcoming season! The coach can reserve a slot for the team(s) by registering online with a non-refundable $50 reservation fee per team. Each team must have at least 8 players and will be charged for at least 8 players.
The team registration fee ($50 per team) is non-refundable. Team player deposits are non-refundable with the only exception being a written doctor’s excuse. Refund requests (less a $50 registration fee) must be made in writing by July 9.
